Bike Ride, 10K Run, Festival, and oh ya, Firecrackers!

This weekend folks will be coming into Chinatown quite early – to bike and run! Saturday morning the 2014 Firecracker Bike Ride begins at 9am sharp and rides through Los Angeles for 20 miles. There will be a “Nite & Day Festival” open to the public from 10am – 4pm, with music and so much more in Central Plaza.

Then on Sunday morning you’ll want to show up at 7am for the Opening Ceremony that includes the National Anthem, Lion Dance and yes, good morning neighbors, they are lighting up over 100,000 Firecrackers! Then starts the 5K Run/Walk at 8am or join the national 10K Run at 8:30am through the streets of downtown Los Angeles. There’s even a Kiddie Run at 9:45am. The “Nite & Day Festival” starts at 8:15am on Sunday – 12pm and is also open to the public for free in the Central Plaza with music and hula dancing and so much more!
